I've first watched Scrubs during its original run and I've always strongly disliked Elizabeth Banks. I actually wonder if she's really an actress or if that's who she is in real life, because she's always playing a fussy, arrogant, spoiled woman (30 Rock, Modern Family, Scrubs, Curb).
It's already a miracle and pretty stupid of JD that he took her back, even if it's for the baby. Kim lied to him and then when SHE needs him, she asks him to take her back (knowing oh too well that as a pregnant single mom, it'll be difficult and she'll be on her own for some time).
Having guilted JD (and somehow, Carla and Elliott take her side), he does agree to be with her.
But he did tell her some episodes ago that there is no chance he'd EVER love her again.
So why is she pushing this? Why is she surprised JD doesn't love her and just "hopes one day I can love you"? Considering what she's done, I'd say that's still plenty!
Then SHE dumps him (seemingly that's important to her for her ego) and a moment later tells Doctor Donna "He just dumped ME, boohoo!"
I mean, this was all before the current social climate we have, but I think this kind of behavior is why men and women get along less and less.
She DESTROYED the trust willingly and without thinking of anyone but HERSELF. That alone was just so stupid, especially since she knew she'd keep the baby! But now she is surprised a broken trust can usually not be fixed or that IF it can be fixed, it might take 10 years or more?
It's just making her seem like a giant baby who's very selfish and immature.
The episode itself is good, although the overall quality of Scrubs was of course highest during the first 4 seasons. Still, it's a good episode:).
