This episode is great with seeing how the JD and Dr.Cox is changing. When they first meet, JD is looking for Dr.Cox to see he's proud and give him a hug. Even though till now he still wants that. JD has changed and become a better and more confident doctor. Now they relationship is changing with Cox as the new chief. Someone had to take up Cox's role of pissing off the chief and making do things he can't. Like getting more nurses or equipment. And Kelso telling Cox to be chief cause he's meant for it. Then Kelso goes to JD and tells home he has a new role to fulfill. It's just great seeing the relationship of Cox and Kelso become JD and Cox.

So emotional to see how the series progresses

My 10 may be a little bit unfair: I know this isn't the most emotional episode of the series, but I still liked it a lot.

Dr. Cox becomes the new Kelso and JD has to take the role of the new dr.Cox, as the doctor that always stands up against the chief of medicine.

After 8 years of seeing the characters develop this is the episode that makes you realize how things have really changed and if you are a huge fan of the series it will leave you with a lump in your throat.

The whole mentor dynamic is over, the tides have shifted and the relationship between Cox and Dorian is so different from the start of the series, the characters have changed so much, that I dare any big time fan not to get emotional to such a twist.
