Fantastic episode. Great writing, great character development. Real honest emotion. Depth to understandings and misunderstandings between characters.

Bonus trivia: we discover that Tyra is 5'11" tall (as is the actress in real life, according to her IMDb page) when Tami eyes her effortlessly returning some chips to a cabinet in the Taylors' kitchen and then recruits her for the volleyball team. This made me realize they had previously minimized her height. I like that it's now baked into her character .. don't know why, it's just interesting. Adds a little humanity and randomness to the character. And now we have some women athletes to root for, which is a nice change from the football player / cheerleader dynamic.
(Noteworthy is that, unlike in the previous episode, the women have total agency .. a seesaw I have noticed on other television shows with inconsistent writing. Bad writers make women into cardboard cutout man accessories. Every so many episodes, one dimension just falls off the map. Here the women are back on, and the show is truer and better for it.)
