I had started watching this series out of my sheer love for thrillers and Rajeev Khandelwal(of course). However, never knew it would be so predictable right from the very beginning. Just spoils the fun there. And the climax was even more weird. Rajeev being a good actor that he is, has tried his level best. However, the plot is very predictable, monotonous and overstretched without any emotional connect built anywhere. So, save yourself some time and watch something else.

A fast paced thriller with a promising start... Predictable end !!

An adaptation of the British Television series Liar, Marzi is a fast paced thriller web series that weaves a complex web of trust & deceit , that has viewers glued to their seat .
The first three episodes are a real treat to watch. However once the big reveal happens , the pace slows down and the story slithers to a predictable climax.
Great acting by Rajeev Khandelwal and Aahana Kumra throughout.
Decent one time watch.
Aahana Kumra and Rajeev Khandelwal shines

Marzi story plot is set up in Shimla, where Sameera Reddy( Aahana Kumra), a cheery school teacher, is ready to try love again after an acrimonious breakup with her fiance Nitin (Rajeev Siddhartha). She goes to a dinner date with Anurag Saraswat(Rajeev Khandelwal), a charming and reputable surgeon. But the date is cut short when a traumatised and disoriented Sameera wakes up to discover she has been sexually abused by Anurag.
Aahana Kumra and Rajeev Khandelwal are undoubtedly the strongest point of the web series. Both of them captivate audiences with their engaging performances.
Director Anil Senior has done a decent job here and he also added the ongoing Me Too movement.
Where Marzi lacks is the length, it seems bit dragged and could have been shorter by couple of episodes. Still Marzi is a good watch.

When I stated this series, I had high expectations. But it turned out to be annoying mainly because of slow pace and terrible performance by the lead actress Aahana Kumra. She couldn't display the complexity of her character. She held on to single emotion throughout the series. The only good thing is Rajeev Khandelwal. If only he was given more screen time and more grey shades to display, this series would have turned out to be a pleasure to watch. He was wonderful in whatever screen space he got. His character could have been explored more. Also, his past looked interesting, that could have been stressed upon a little bit more. All in all, a lot seems to be missing. But, kudos to Rajeev Khandelwal for portraying such a charming psychopath.
It's so slow.

I don't consider it as a bad show but not as something great, if your'e on quarantine then well you can watch it.
1- The script is incredibly slow 2- The plot is clear from 2nd episode 3 - there should've been only 4-5 episodes 4- Outdoor shots are very less and only character focused shots are there which shows the lack of budget 5- Editing is very poor work, should've been 30 min per episode 6- Casting could've been better for characters
Well atleast voot is making attempts and for that i rate it at 6, Rest assured you won't be able to watch the 6th episode as it gets very boring.

Warning: Spoilers
Looks like many reviews are blindly given by most of the people. I was keen to watch this series after going through its trailer. The concept had tremendous potential to make it into a suspense, drama & thriller affair but unfortunately after 2 episodes you lose interest because you can predict what's gonna happen next. Plenty of questions remained unanswered because of trying include too many parallel stories. There comes a point when your interest gets lost & you just hope that the story reaches to its finale. Performances wise everyone has portrayed their characters quite well especially Rajeev Khandelwal, Aahana Kumara, Shivani Tanksale. Maybe this is the only plus point in the entire series. If you are a fan of any of these actors then you may watch it. Otherwise you will get disappointed.

Boring, illogical, too stretchy series with no story
deypradipstar1 April 2020
Complete waste of time. A bogus, meaningless story. Here it only shows that Shimla police doesn't look at facts or proofs, but goes with the believes and drugs are available like people can buy it from grocery stores. Even Doremon or Shinchan have stronger story line than this. Weird acting of Ahana. Those who given 10 stars, I think they have no brain and must be "Kyun ki......" viewer.
