4 star for the story only. The movie is not engaging at all. The genre is thriller but there's not even a single scene that's thrilling. In some scenes the movie seriously lacks logic.

Story revolves around Kumbakonam, A Temple town of Tamil Nadu. The movie is starting with the introduction of MLA of Kumbakonam constituent Eswara Moorthy and his backstory. An honest police officer Assistant superintendent Walter is on a mission to nab the suspects of two newborn babies of mysterious death are the plot.
But the movie has more characters, Bala portrayed by Samuthrakani. His screen presence was less but it was great as usual. He has done a character of an important member of the ruling party and a good friend to Dr.Arjun portrayed by "Natty" Natraj. Acting of Walter as honest police portrayed by Sibi Sathyaraj was splendid.
Pre-Intermission of the movie has started with the plot and lost its path which finally ended in the climax. The writer has given a new kind of thriller feed to Tamil cinema, Bombay blood group. It is found very interesting and found a gripping one for a thriller movie.
Overall, Walter has missed its thrilling elements due to fabby writing. Likes and Dislikes
The plot is clean and would have very good thrilling elements but unfortunately, it was missed. Screenplay was utterly confusing because of fabby writing which leads to boredom scenes. Cinematography is great in providing screen presence of the actors but it was not only required. Characters of Bala, Arjun and the actress was not required which is putting soap to the plot for adding some elements since the writer not able to give a medical thriller. To save Bombay blood group infants, an anti-hero is abducting them and saving them from the perpetrator which found outlandish. The climax is not that much great, it could be better.

This movie isn't as bad as the reviews suggests. Decent story line about a corrupt politician and his family.
Samuthirakani was wasted in the movie. Hardly comes for few scenes and dies off without advising. Sibi Raj has just the role that is an extension of his investigative role of Satya and he does what is expected out of him. Bava Chelladurai in the villain role could have emoted better. Shirin Kanchwala in the heroine role looked too artificial and horribly written. Riythvika, thought she is giving a path breaking performance, but just looked funny and irritating in her role as the villain's daughter. Natty pulls off his role with ease. Music of the movie is sort of passable.

One of the dummest movie I've ever seen in recent time. Sibi is not fit for CP stories and no point of trying to copy his dads footstep. Wasted 2 actress who doesn't even know what is acting. wasted 2GB data for streaming platform.
Satyaraj will choke watching this movie.

There has never been a more visibly awkward police officer than Sibi Sathyaraj's Walter. The awkwardness isn't restricted to his pursuit in making the character look caricaturish; he stands erect, adjusts his pants every time he walks into the screen, and looks wooden - for the most part, I was heavily distracted by Sibiraj's bushy moustache which, admittedly, has more layers than the script.

Worst Movie. Nobody acted good in the movie. Songs and BGM in the movie were worst. The movie was not at all interesting and thrilling. The movie had many illogical scenes and unwanted characters. The movie was so boring and lagging. Worst Movie.

Not a bad one to watch during these lockdown times. Decent thriller, but bit predictable. Lead actor performance is too artificial. Lacks twists and turns generally expected in thriller murder mystery movies. But still you can watch it once.

Good Content. But slow screenplay. Songs really act as a barricade. Natty and Charlie sir's portions stayed strong. Had some interesting information. Filled with some twists which made the film engaged to watch. It can be watchable for its content. Wishes for the crew!

Main actor lacked in acting and his actions were mostly feminine the minister had no clue of what he was doing with poor acting.Main female actress was bad in acting too.Charle's (Paneerselvam) was only actor who acted well.Editing was awful.Poor direction a nd poor everything was shown.Dont waste your time with such an awful movie.

This movie was amazing. from the acting to the editing it was top quality. loved the police scene especial the one with the legend WALTER . Walter the movie will forever go down in history as one of the best movies i have ever seen, i would recommend this piece of art to everyone i know (unfortunately due to the current global situation i can not).
