Milena Radulovic, Juanlu González & Luis Fernández Lead Cast For Spain-Serbia Thriller Series ‘Scar’
The cast of the Asacha Media-backed Spanish-Serbian thriller series Scar (Cicatriz) has taken shape.
Cameras are rolling today in Spain on the European co-production from Plano a Plano, Dopamine and Adrenalin. Milena Radulovic, Juanlu González, Luis Fernández will lead the scripted series, with Stefan Kapicic, Mladen Sovilj, Goran Susljik and Julen Serrano also attached.
Radulovic is known for Serbian-British drama series Besa and Russian thriller Superdeep, while González starred in Netflix’s Valeria and the popular Spanish TV crime series La Caza, La Otra Mirada and features including Operación Camarón.
Fernández is known for roles in Antena 3 fantasy series Los Protegidos, and other shows such as A Tres Metros Sobre el Cielo, Desaparecidos and Servir y Proteger.

Barcelona-based production-distribution-sales outfit Filmax has taken on international sales on Spanish director Víctor García León’s new comedy “One Hell of a Holiday!”
Filmax is presenting the trailer to international buyers at this week’s Malaga Film Festival at Mafiz’s Spanish Screenings Content, a massive industry platform where Filmax is also talking up a raft of titles led by “Girl, Unknown” and “Co-Husbands.”
“One Hell of a Holiday!” is written by Manuel Burque and Josep Gatell (“Undercover Wedding Crashers”).This grandparents’ tale follows Manuela and José, two grandparents who love looking after their grandkids but have had enough of their children dumping their offspring on them every five minutes.
Indeed, Manuela and José can’t remember when they last had some free time. To top it all off, they’ve had to cancel their summer holiday, because their children have an important business trip and need them to look after the grandkids.

Santiago Segura’s ‘The Kids Are Alright’ was the fourth-highest grossing film of the year.
Spain was one of the few European markets where an independent local title made it into the top 10 in 2021.
Rarer still, Warner Bros Spain’s comedy The Kids Are Alright, directed by and starring Santiago Segura, landed in the top five with a year-end gross of $9.6m (€8.49m), ahead of Dune, No Time To Die and Eternals.
The total Spanish box office reached $284m (€251m) in 2021, up on the $193,5m (€171m) of 2020, but far from pre-pandemic figures that saw a total gross of $706m (€624m...
