South of Nowhere season 3 easily rivals It's first season

Warning: Spoilers
Spashley is in distress. Ashley continues to sleep with Aiden, while trying to win over Spencer's heart. It's tragic, it's real, and, believe it or not, it's on South of Nowhere. Contrary to the dreadful season 2 fiasco, This episode (season 3 premiere) begins with reality. There is no glamor in grieving. Ashley is soon to take off when she sees that Spencer needs her presence, and reassurance. 3 months later, she simply struts back into the girl's life, demanding what she is in no place to demand. We get to see Ashley breaking, becoming desperate (and, at times, a little scary) to save what's lost. Spencer realizes that what she needs right now is a firm hold: someone stable. Thus, Ashley is automatically blacklisted. This episode was incredible in so many different ways because it portrayed human feeling, and longing, and heartbreak in a way that is rarely shown in today's modern TV. From the beautiful camera angels of Spencer and Ashley kissing in Chelsea's studio, to the last scene, where Ashley wishes Spencer a goodnight, hanging up, and turning over to see the last person she needs. By the way, Kudos to Matt Cohen for finally bringing Aiden's character out of the closet. And, of course, to our lovely leading ladies: Gabrielle Christian, and Amanda Musgrave. In conclusion, what made this episode so great, was the humor (Glen kissing an army recruiter? Dear God!), the wonderfully, accurate, tragic portrayal of a dying love, the music, and, some great directing, and camera work (my last kudos of the Day: Bethany Rooney for doing some great directing, and the crew for avoiding "boomey", you all were great!). My only complaint, is that they cut down on the commercial time. Though, I don't see that happening.
