- TriviaThe only time before their engagement that Tony willingly took Jeannie to an event when he knew Dr. Bellows would be there. In all other instances, he wouldn't let Jeannie come because he didn't want Dr. Bellows to see them together (although a few other times she outsmarted his attempts to prevent her from coming).
- GoofsWhen Tony and Roger come back from the space mission Tony removed his helmet in the capsule. This is not accurate astronauts would not take their equipment out until they are secure by the rescue team.
- Quotes
Jeannie: What are you going to do?
Major Anthony Nelson: I don't really know, I'm going to have to give it some thought Jeannie. I could stop a war, flood the Sahara, wipe out the common cold,, I don't really know where to begin.
Jeannie: Master, please be careful it is not as easy as it seems.
Major Anthony Nelson: What do you mean?
Jeannie: Well your world is very complicated. If you stop one war you're liable to start ten others. If you flood the Sahara you may empty an ocean. Oh believe me Master it would be much better if you would start with something smaller.

Major Nelson becomes an unknowing genie
"My Turned-On Master" answers the question of how Major Nelson would react to having Jeannie's magical powers. The problem is, in her willingness to give up her abilities so that she can attend a celebration to honor her master she unwittingly blinks her powers to Tony without telling him. As one mishap after another plagues him all morning, Tony's admission that he'd like to unburden himself to Dr. Bellows results in another switch, which results in even more hilarity when the good doctor argues with his wife over what color the Bellows home should be. Interesting to see Major Nelson pondering on how many wonderful things he could do with such powers, finally learning how difficult it can be to wield such unstoppable magic.
