Funny but instantly forgettable

The film is about a dad who has to take care of his children for 10 days while his wife is on holiday. The film starts off with a weird opening sequence which will reoccur around the climax of the film. The film keeps breaking the 4th wall and has so many tropes & clichés that we've seen in family comedies. The worst of the worst is that most of the characters are unliveable, they don't have good enough chemistry and the editing is choppy. The good parts of the film are the jokes with the Di Caprio is okay, they call him the Wolf Of Wall Street but I doubt that the target audience will know about that film. The twist that the new babysitter was fired from her previous job was very predictable. Overall watch it if you have nothing to do, but don't expect a great film.

Funny or sad?

It's a cute little French movie but I don't know if you can call it a comedy. First because the funniest moment is the bunny in the lake and second because it brings up some serious issues. Moms work hard with not enough appreciation, dads work so much they hardly know their kids, people devote their lives to jobs that don't pay off, good people make small mistakes that cost too much etc. I think they were trying to show us these issues in a light humorous way but if you really think about it, it's actually sad.

I guess I was expecting a crazy funny movie in which the dad is totally lost waiting for his wife to come home and save him. It has that but it also makes you think about life. I did like that the movie ends on a more positive note in which the right lessons are learned and the family is back together in a better spot than they were before.

Really began with a question from a choclate brown portuguese woman: "Why am I not brown?" OMG!!! ... ... ... ... ... ... ... Hmm. This just explodes my brain
