What would spooky season be without the Sanderson Sisters? Thanks to Freeform, we’ll never have to find out.
The cable network’s annual 31 Nights of Halloween lineup features 18 showings of Hocus Pocus, the beloved 1993 film starring Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy — and while that may seem like a lot, keep in mind that Freeform aired the Walt Disney flick a whopping 30 (!) times in 2019. (Of course, you can watch Hocus Pocus, as well as its 2022 sequel, as many times as you’d like with a Disney+ subscription, but who are we to suggest a commercial-free viewing experience?...

Freeform’s 31 Nights of Halloween lineup might seem like a whole bunch of Hocus Pocus, but there’s actually quite a bit of variety this year.
In fact, the beloved 1993 film starring Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy is scheduled to air just 14 times in 2020. That might sound like a lot… until you discover that the basic cabler aired the Walt Disney flick a whopping 30 (!) times in 2019.

One of my fondest memories growing up as a young horrorphile was catching as many scary movies and fright-filled specials as I could during the month of October in order to prepare for Halloween night. With the hundreds of channel options out there for viewers these days, I thought it might be fun to break down where genre fans can catch various movies, specials and even Halloween-themed cartoons over the next 31 days so that you can start planning out your viewings in advance.

How seriously do you think I take Halloween? Well, I’m fairly frickin’ anal retentive anyway, so I need to book my viewing in advance. I mean I’ll deviate from my itinerary, but I at least need a plan. I can’t be the only one out there with a stick up his ass. So this October/Halloween Season I figured we needed a little guidance. There’s too many damn channels on the cable box, no horror hosts and shit for advertising. So let me be your TV Guide… Keeper.

Tia and Tamera Mowery are heading back to your TV screens, but this time they're going to keep it rel.
Deadline has announced that Style Network has given a six-episode order for Tia and Tamera Take 2, a docu-series, which will follow the twins as they prepare for huge milestones in their personal lives. Tia, who is now married to actor Cory Hardrict, is now expecting her first child, while Tamera is preparing to tie the knot with Fox News correspondent Adam Housley. Both of these events will be the focus of the show and how each twin deals with it. I smell a winner already.
The show will be sort of a continuation of a special of the same name that aired last summer. Salaam Coleman Smith, the president of the Style Network, said the special performed well with the cable network's viewers, garning "incredible positive" feedback with fans.

Avalon High, the next Disney Channel Original Movie, has started production in New Zealand and it stars Britt Robertson and Gregg Sulkin. American viewers know Robertson best for her role as Lux on Life Unexpected (TV), while Sulkin has guest starred as Mason Greybeck on a couple of episodes of Wizards of Waverly Place (TV) and is recognized back home in England for his appearances on Disney Channel UK's version of As the Bell Rings (TV). So what is Avalon High about? Well, we've got the scoop.
