Code Geass' Red Wedding

Warning: Spoilers
That was a truly shocking, powerful and tragic episode. The ways things escalated quickly at the end reminded me of Game of Thrones' Rain of Castamere. Best episode I have seen so far.

This is why, you don't use dark humor in serious situations... especially if you have GEASS!!!

The Best Episode of the First Season
BadgerStorm43454 October 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I love Code Geass for its music, characters, plot, politics but most of all, for its portrayal of war. Things like this have happened in our world before. Crowds have been massacred thinking they've been promised peace (Constantinople to name an example). The true horror that this episode embodies is that of something far more terrifying that is embedded into our own world, the fact that sometimes, people will follow orders at the whim of people who don't even believe in their own actions. This episode is a masterpiece that really impacts you.

Sad, sad, sad, tragic masterpiece of an episode!
ikshulnew29 March 2020
This episode will bring forth leaps of character development for many key players. It was especially tragic to see how the events affected Ohgi, Euphy Lelouch and Suzaku...oh things are getting highly interested now. If Shari to juko was the episode that started the mature arc of this series, this episode will mark its ascent into the ranks of legendary material (eg- Naruto, Stein's;Gate, Attack on Titan, Future Diary, Ergo Proxy and Assassination Classroom among others).

New Title "How to esclate an ended fight"

Warning: Spoilers
From the moment I watched this episode I'm just saying why? Why it should go this way? It was a brave choice to take a very important and very peaceful character like Euphy to berserk. It was a shocking piece of masterpiece that would melt the stone. The only thing that I can say is that goddamn father who is killing his children should be doomed. I wish I see that very soon because of just now full of anger and despair just like Nana.

When the Geass is misused
mackinleymenezes21 October 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Do you remember a moment in TV where there is that one twist that you think can happen and can screw up the entire situation ,but it cannot happen unless something out of the ordinary forces that outcome to happen (all this stuff happens in the viewers mind, before it actually happen)

And when it happens you are not ready for it ,you know it will happen but what you don't expect is that it happen and takes the moment even further into messed up territory

Chizumi no Euphie perfectly captured that exact moment and not only that but has done the situation even worse for the story increasing the stakes to all time high and for Lelouch to fix this situation that can't seem to have a solution to it.

Even after so many years this single moment has massacred the viewers and the execution by studio GIANAX took the advantage and Geassed ours mind so that we can never forget this moment.
