Minor characters are the best
lillasparvoga26 March 2023
Unfortunately, the main storyline of this show is one of the most far-fetched that I've ever seen in my life. If the main characters Laila y Jamil had known about the existence of voice recorders, their problems would have been solved in the first few episodes of the show and none of what happened would have happened. The three main characters Laila, Jamil and Dalila are the most exaggerated characters there can be, very sketchy, with little development behind, very plain and superficial. The good ones are too sweet and too good and the evil ones are quintessential evil. At the end of the day, they look very primitive, even idiotic at times.

However, some secondary plotlines are truly moving and endearing like that of Cibele o Ali and Sara and also Bruno and Marie, and the story of Faruq - those are deeper, more complex, more touching and more true to life. The multinational touch is also nice but the main characters could have been more complex.
