At the wedding ceremony, Herb's ex-fiancé was trying to make it sound like she and Alan are having sex and Alan bursts in on the ceremony and yells that he's not having sex. When Charlie and Jake come home from the wedding, Charlie says Alan's outburst is on YouTube, but no one was recording Alan's outburst on a camera phone or a video camera.
When Jake spills spaghetti on his tux, the position of his hands changes between shots. In the shots with the camera on Alan, both of Jake's hands are on the table, palms down. In the shots with the camera on Jake, he's holding the fork in his right hand and his left hand is on the table, palm up.
In the first dining-table scene, Jake's box of Crackles cereal moves all over the place. When he first puts it on the table, it's to his left, with the back of the box facing toward the sink. Berta delivers a short line, and now the box is in Jake's right hand, with the front of the box toward the sink. After he pours some into his bowl, he puts it to his left, with the front of the box facing away from him, toward the sink. Charlie walks in, and now the back of the box, still at Jake's left, is facing toward the sink.
When Jake and Alan are listening to Charlie's bed squeaking, the sound the bed makes is of an old box spring and mattress. Charlie would obviously have the best bed that money could buy, one that would not make any noise.
In an American (Christian) wedding, the bride and attendants stand to the left side, not the right.
