Brittown (2008)

This documentary has been compared with "On Any Sunday" but it sort of works on it's own. If you watch the TV channel, Motortrend, you see shows about shops fixing cars all the time. Well, this is very similar dealing with Jeff "Meatball" Tulinius and his motorcycle shop, Hell on Wheels in Anaheim, California. He and his friends work on old motorcycles, rebuilding them.

Meatball loves Triumphs (thus the name Brittown) and is rebuilding a 1971 Bonneville 650. In between, he's out riding and racing with his buddies and playing music at his local hang-out. The photography is fantastic and the soundtrack is also nice with various styles of music.

If you like motorcycles and racing, you're going to love this movie.

BRITTOWN the movie

Great movie, nicely done truly shows the essence of their feelings! comparable to "On any Sunday" by bruce brown including the great steve Mcqueen......

made me realize that older bikes can still be ridden at SPEED today...

I wish I had my 70's husky today the best handling bike I ever had including new yamaha YZ...

it had these girling shocks which with their micro range of movement compared to a monoshock system....... over whoopdees tracked true and straight unlike the monoshock which would give surprising kicks to the side and shocks to my butt even when standing..... I experimented with different springs and settings.... but the husky did it all perfectly,,, and I don't mean to endorse husquavarna.......

just this guys approach and philosophy showed he understood "the meaning of life"

to all you riders today don't get caught up in all the hype out there.... watch this movie and try to connect with his and their way of life.....
