TV Asahi is one of Japan’s best-known television channels, and anime fans will know it as well for its contribution to the anime market, which includes Crayon Shin-chan, Doraemon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Blue Lock, Boys Over Flowers, Slam Dunk, Sailor Moon and numerous Gundam titles. But, recently, TV Asahi has decided to make a slightly different contribution to the world of anime by revealing a list of the 20 best anime songs of all time in a special program, but with a twist.
Namely, these songs were selected and ranked only by foreign, non-Japanese fans from around the world. The list includes songs from different time periods, which is why it is a very diverse list, and that is always a good thing. Sadly, we don’t have the special for you as it is not available for streaming, but we do have the list, so enjoy some of the best anime songs ever!

Voices That Bring Anime to Life: Celebrating the Best Anime Voice Actors of All Time ( Photo Credit – IMDb )
Japan takes its anime voice actors very seriously to the point where they have special voice acting academies and schools to train them to master their art completely. This is exactly why these professionals are so versatile and have such natural, golden voices. In fact, a large number of avid anime fans prefer watching anime subs rather than anime dubs exactly because of this. Some Dub actors tend to exaggerate and overact as a way to compensate for the inconsistency in translations and syncing. Native voice actors retain the ‘authenticity’ that dubs lack.
The authenticity of the subs is attributed to the voice actors’ talent and how natural they are with their jobs. Here are some of the best Japanese anime voice actors of all time.

It was recently announced that the Wizarding World is pivoting away from finishing its mixed bag of a "Harry Potter" prequel saga with "Fantastic Beasts" — which still providing some cool moments that improve on the "Potter" films — to instead retell the exact same tale of the Boy Who Lived (until he became a sacrificial lamb and sent to the slaughter). This news brought with it a lot of mixed reactions, from those who can't fundamentally reconcile their feelings for the franchise and the controversy surrounding its creator, notorious bigot J.K. Rowling, to even those who would like the property to try something new rather than just tell the same story over and over again and never move beyond Hogwarts.
Regardless, there is no denying that the idea of a school but with magic is compelling -- but how to scratch that itch without supporting Rowling or rewatching the exact same story told a second time?...

Demon Slayer Season 3 Episode 2
“So what if it breaks down? Just make another one.”
In the world of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba there’s solace to be found in knowing one’s place and embracing this role–whether it’s as a Demon Slayer, swordsmith, or a robotic teaching tool. That being said, there’s a big difference to someone who chooses to stay in their station in life as opposed to an individual who’s told that they’ll never amount to anything more. Muichiro, the Mist Hashira, spends most of “Yoriichi Type Zero” telling swordsmith Kotetsu that he’s destined to fulfill a specific purpose and play his desired role as one of the many cogs in life’s machine. Tanjiro preaches that all of these diverse skills complement each other and that one wouldn’t be possible without the other.

“House of Gucci” (Universal Pictures Home Entertainment) The legendary and legendarily vicious Gucci fashion empire gets the old-fashioned big movie treatment with Adam Driver, Jared Leto, Jeremy Irons, and Lady Gaga. Is it kind of ridiculous? Yes, but it’s also the reboot of “Dynasty” you never knew you wanted, one that’s best watched with a living room full of your rowdiest and most opinionated friends. Everyone in the movie is doing a variation on Italian-accented English, the settings are opulent, and Gaga is giving look after look after hat after hat and you will respect the wild, criminal duh-raaamaaa of it all.
Also Available:
“American Underdog” (Lionsgate) Zachary Levi stars as NFL champ Kurt Warner, who overcame multiple challenges and setbacks on the road to football glory.
“Apex” (Rlje Films) Bruce Willis must kill or be killed in order to escape prison.

This My Hero Academia review contains spoilers.
My Hero Academia Season 5 Episode 11
“If you can’t save yourself, you don’t have the strength to save others.”
My Hero Academia has always emphasized the importance of teamwork and how a hero needs to be able to trust their peers rather than operate as a one-man Avengers. This season of My Hero Academia is more interested in teamwork than ever before and the entire structure revolves around the most interesting combination of characters in combat.
“Our Brawl” seems like it will be a very singular fight that pits Shinso’s growing enthusiasm against Midoriya’s explosive new power, but it turns into one of the biggest celebrations of teamwork from the entire season. Both teams are driven to finish this fight, work their hardest, and prove what they can accomplish, despite how there’s a large amount of danger and uncertainty that looms over this battle.

The anime industry has grown tremendously over the last two decades and it is now valued at $19 billion dollars. Over 87% of studios are based in Tokyo, Japan, with the rest spread in countries like the US, the UK, or China. Because there is such a high interest in this industry, Hollywood has attempted to make a few live-action adaptations of animes; most of which have failed. The style, emotions, and variety of characters transmitted through drawings are very difficult to reproduce in real life. There are, however, some good films out there worth watching at least once.

Japanese production company Sunrise is to revive the iconic “Inuyasha” anime franchise and deliver a series “Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon.” Viz Media has come on board to handle digital streaming rights, electronic sell-through, and home video in North America and Latin American territories.
Most of the Japanese film industry is currently shut down as a result of the nationwide anti-coronavirus lockdown and social distancing rules. And no details of the production schedule or delivery date were available.
The “Inuyasha” franchise first started as a critically acclaimed manga series, for which the English version was featured regularly on The New York Times Bestsellers list throughout the 2000s. The anime adaptation aired on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim block for over 11 years nearing 200 episodes. It has also spawned four successful feature film adaptations, but the franchise ended in 2010.
The original creator Rumiko Takahashi returns to handle character design. The series is to be directed by Teruo Sato.

“Shoplifters,” the intense drama that won the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival this year, has carried off the prize for the highest-grossing live-action Japanese film at the Chinese box office.
Co-producer Gaga Corporation confirmed Tuesday that the film, directed by Hirokazu kore-eda, had scored RMB83.9 million in Chinese theaters, or about $12.2 million, since its Aug. 3 release. The previous record was held by “Gintama,” released last year, which scored RMB81.3 million during its run.
The total in China for “Shoplifters” is still some way short of the film’s score in its home market. It has been on release in Japan since June, through Gaga, and has clocked up $39 million (JPY4.31 billion) from 3.52 million admissions.
The film has been released in Asian territories including South Korea, Singapore and Hong Kong. It is set for theatrical release in the U.S. and U.K. in November. International sales are...

Bucking a decade-long box office trend toward local films, Hollywood dominated the Japanese movie-going in the first half of 2018. But the respite in the world’s number three theatrical market may not last.
The number one and two films for the January-June period, “Detective Conan: Zero the Enforcer” ($76 million) and “Doraemon the Movie: Nobita’s Treasure Island” ($47 million), were local and the new entries in long-running anime series. Counting the $34 million for number five “Shoplifters,” Hirokazu Kore-eda’s Palme-d’Or-winning family drama, Japanese films in the top ten earned a total of $157 million. That compares with the $209 million earned by the seven Hollywood films in the top ten.
Hollywood’s successes were an eclectic bunch. Fox’s “The Greatest Showman” beat any of the franchise titles, earning $48 million. “The Boss Baby” earned $30.7 million for Toho-Towa, making Japan the number two international result for the Fox comedy.
