THE LOCATOR is a straight-to-video shot-on-video blaxploitation thriller made in Pennsylvania by writer/director/star Andre Bruckner. It's really bad, cheaply shot and completely unconvincing, not to mention telling the same old story once again. Bruckner plays a former government assassin hunted by bad guys, but if you're expecting suspense you'll be disappointed as this is very talky and the only action consists of a lame shoot-out at the climax. The rest is a mix of cheap romance and dodgy acting, and the whole thing looks at least a decade older than it is due to the cheapness of it.
