Baltimore's police department and drug trade make changes to key personnel.
This is an excellent episode with memorable character moments.
It is difficult to go into detail in this one without spoiling certain parts, but it safe to say that what's shown is very compelling. One scene involving a golf club is very unnerving and reminiscent of a certain part of 'The Untouchables'. Another involves a very cold act of betrayal that makes brilliant use of the facial expressions of the actors involved.
The best aspect of the storytelling is the contrast between the four central characters involved and how two similar processes are carried out in very different ways.
In all the violent brutality and ruthless political manoeuvring, it still finds time for humour. I love the scene in Levy's office. Plus the scenes involving Carver show fantastic character development by the writers and one exchange with Herc is quite a feel good moment that is a ray of sunshine in all the darkness.
All actors are great as always but for me, Robert F. Chew, Frankie Faison, Jamie Hector, and Seth Gilliam stand out.
It's a 9.5/10 for me but I round upwards.
