Lorelai and Rory are going to take a road trip down to N Carolina for Mia's wedding. During a phone conversation with Lorelai, Mia ends up inviting Emily to come along. Emily is pretty grumpy the whole time and even makes fun of Mia's husbands name, Howard. Haha.

Zack and Lane ask Luke to be the godfather to their twins and he agrees. Lane goes into labor at the end of the episode.

While at Mias wedding, Logan shows up to make amends with Rory who, at first, is unimpressed by this big gesture.

Mia's Wedding

This is not one of my favorite episodes. Although there are a few good things.

Good: Rory standing up to Logan and not automatically giving into a grand gesture. Mia telling Lorelei that Emily had come by soon after they moved to the Independence Inn to ask for photos and Mia to look over them. Luke closing the diner as soon as Lane goes into labor.

Annoying/things I didn't like: Lorelia being so oblivious to how much the Mia relationship could hurt Emily. Them going to the diner knowing Emily would hate it. That's Mia is such a huge part of their lives and we barely knew her throughout the seasons. Emily is obviously reaching out as she is having a hard time with Richard and at home and not until the very end does Lorelei acknowledge anything. Zach freaking out and asking Luke every small question (it's cute but also like it only starts now that Luke is godfather? No questions before? And like Godfather is this huge thing when they aren't religious and Lane had asked Rory to be the Lorelei for her kids, not godmother).

Overall there are some good moments, some cringe moments and just meh overall.
