- An infant's diaper is changed, but no nudity is seen.
- A man wakes up in his underwear.
- A man says to his wife they should "try for a new baby" when he gets back home from work.
- A young girl urinates herself in her clothes out of fear (no nudity).
- A man at a stocking station has what he calls a 'bowl of flesh,' which is a collection of matchboxes with naked or half-naked women on them. A man looks at one with the figure of a half-naked woman on one with her breasts fully in a very brief shot.
Violence & Gore

- Lots of violence, though most of it is not too bloody or shown.
- A woman sees some blood on a shirt on a clothesline. The shirt has an angel on it, and when she tries to rub the blood off, the blood oozes from the angel's hands. This is fairly scary; it is obviously all in her head rather than actually happening.
- A snake's corpse is shown, but only a bit of blood is seen.
- A woman shoves a pin into her finger very slowly in a painful closeup and smears the blood from the cut on her lips, in the form of mock lipstick.
- There are a few brief shots of slabs of meat going through a meat processing facility on television. They are shown being sawed through with machinery.
- There are two brief shots of a baby abandoned in a cornfield with blood coming out of its mouth. Very bloody, but very quick.
- A woman throws a glass container on the ground and shatters it.
- A girl trips while running and begins to cry.
- A woman chases after her children in a corn cutting machine through a cornfield. The boy shoots a stone at the mother from his slingshot and hits her in the head. She stops the corn cutter, but is not visibly hurt.
- A small, bloody cut is seen on a girl's knee. Her brother bandages it.
- A woman stabs a pig with a rake and it dies. Minimal blood is seen; mostly squishing noises are heard.
- In self-defense, a boy pushes a load of heavy materials on top of his violent mother, but she is fine.
- A boy impales his foot on a nail. He quickly pulls it out of his foot and some blood is seen. Mostly squishy noises are heard.
- A woman snaps a chicken's neck with her bare hands offscreen.
- A woman is attacked by a dog and we hear it bite her. The woman then slices the dog with a knife several times. The man who owns the dog approaches its corpse, then the woman kills him by slicing his throat. Blood sprays and drips onto the ground.
Profanity

- Two boys utter "s**t" at the same time once.
- "Damn" is said once.
- A mother calls her youngest daughter a "filthy little bitch."

- It is unclear, but it sounds as if a man says "f**k" once.

- A man says someone will probably "be drunk" later that night.

- A man offers a beer to a man, but he declines.
- A man rolls up a joint or marijuana and smokes it with much pleasure. He drinks beer as well.
Frightening & Intense Scenes

- The plot is about a mother trying to kill her children, so the whole movie is very frightening, particularly for parents.
- There are a few scenes in the beginning which could be considered frightening, as the mother seems to lose her mind.

Violence & Gore
- A dead baby is shown, who was supposedly drowned. Its skin is blue and it is not breathing.
- A woman knocks her young son unconscious by pushing his head into a sink. He wakes up with a bloody nose. When he wakes up, he sees his mother attempting to drown her daughter (the boy's sister). The boy hits the mother in the head with a mirror, knocking her unconscious. The daughter is taken to safety and survives.
- A woman spanks her son, and then stabs him to death with the sharp end of a mirror handle. Lots of blood squirts and sprays and we see his dead body very briefly. The woman is covered in blood afterwards.
- A woman stabs her daughter to death with a rake offscreen, killing her.
- In an attempt to kill her son with a knife, a woman chops a chicken's head off and some blood splatters. She eventually slices the boy's leg lightly (not graphic). He hobbles around painfully for the rest of the film.
- A woman attempts to choke her son. He bites her hand and slams the door on her arm.
- A woman chases after her son with a knife. She corners him and kicks him in the stomach. When she attempts to bring the knife down on him, he stabs her in the foot with a smaller knife (blood shown). She swings at her son and slices his back with some blood shown. She tries to strangle him, then she pushes him down a flight of stairs.
- In the final climactic battle between mother and son in the film, a woman fires two shots at her son with a shotgun, but misses. The boy deliberately sets fire in a house full of gas, because he tries to kill his mother. The house explodes in flame, blowing the boy and mother back. Both of them survive, but the mother is diagnosed with a severe mental disorder.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- The chasing and killing scenes are intense, also the fight between the 10-year-old boy and his own and beloved mother.
- Another intense scene is when a 5-year-old girl pisses herself as she sees her 7-year-old brother getting killed.
