Abbey

Warning: Spoilers
Why did Dan give Abbey a doll when he visited her at her home? I was totally confused by this and my husband asked me the same thing when he watched the episode. What are we missing? We could not make the connection between the doll, Dan, and Abbey unless he was just trying to make nice with her and her mother or he felt bad. Season four is my favorite season, so far. Has anyone went back and re-watched the school shooting episode? Did it really show Abbey watching Dan pull the trigger or was it added later to make the connection between Abbey and Dan and the shooting? Please let me know if this is discussed in the behind-the-scenes footage and I will re-watch! Thanks in advance to anyone that can answer my questions!

The worst moment in Tree Hill history

Warning: Spoilers
The worst moment in Tree Hill history. The Kiss. I almost stopped watching from this episode "The Runaway Found", the pain of the kiss between Karen and Dan Scott. Horrible and unbelievable moment, one wich I will never recover from. I feel completely betrayed by the writers that they would try to make us believe that Karen had not only forgiven him but was also romantically interested in him is just frustrating. I have tried to give make up explanations for her like hormones from her pregnancy or maybe loneliness from loosing Keith, but Karen would in no world forget about Dan's betrayal and just general horribleness.

Back to the stupid melodrama...

Warning: Spoilers
I used to love that about season 4. But boy, how come I never noticed how silly it was?! Why couldn't they have Dan simply confess to murdering Keith, when he was in prison? Like killing two birds with one stone, because of his guilty conscience and wish to do things right? Why make him evil and unhinged? Especially when the reason he shot Keith, was because he thought he was the one who tried to burn him alive. Why did writers forgot that little, yet crucial detail? And we also have the Abby character. She was already annoying enough in the school shooting episode. But she's also the invisible girl, writing messages on the wall of both his house and office. Without anyone noticing it, and calling the police? If this year's writers flair for dramatic wasn't so strong, these storylines would've made more sense. And don't get me started on psycho Derek. What's the point in knowing about his past traumas? Or Nathan coming clean about something everyone, even viewers forgot about?... This is the kind of episode that really make me dislike season 4. Which only worthy episode seem to be the one with the road trip. And maybe the season finale. But I need to rewatch it just to be sure.
