Surreal and sad episode. Light and Misa getting very close to knowing L's true identity but as always L is a few steps ahead. L pulling out and telling the cops that if something happened to him, Light would be suspect number one was brilliant. Misa having to get rid of the memories she has with Light in order to get rid of the police was really sad. I must be the only person who sympathizes with Misa, I think she's interesting, impulsive like me but I'm not so radical as to go out killing people to prove my love to someone, obviously. This anime is awesome.

Light kisses Misa as she speaks to get her to fall deeper in love. She blushes heavily and walks out in a daze.
Light and the smart uni girl walk and come across L on a bench. Light asks the girl to let him speak to him alone. Later Misa comes running up. Misa can see L's real name.
Light excuses to use the washroom and calls Misa's cellphone but it is now in the hands of L and he answers. L's cell phone rings and he announces Misa has been taken into custody under the suspicion of being the second Kira.
Misa is blindfolded and trapped. L orders for her to be tortured to get the truth out. Rem takes the death note away so she no longer has any memories of it but still has feelings for Light.
Rem goes to Light's bedroom and declares she will kill him if he does not go to save Misa.
