I love this show because Thom and staff REALLY tune into the unique needs of each person and space.
Many designers try to design based on what they like...often completely ignoring the person. Never saw anything but awe from the people getting the makeovers.
I just watched season 1 again. Each makeover is truly amazing. Thom has taught me to look at design in a new way.
I especially loved: Jeya's studio apartment for the creative use of a small space. The Tarlow Family's Playroom. Thom went to kid level when he designed that space. Audrina's Patio the after was so well done and turned what could have been a boring outdoor space into some breathtaking.
