Second honeymoon
ShadeGrenade21 July 2023
Warning: Spoilers
In bed one night, June shocks Terry by confessing to being a Liberal voter. He had always assumed she was a Tory ( like himself ). June then produces a list of 'Terry's Faults' and proceeds to read them to him. He was not aware he had any. The next morning, he barely speaks to his wife. To dissipate the frosty atmosphere, Terry and June decide to have a second honeymoon in the same country hotel where they had their first. Of course, things do not go according to plan...

Not much of Aunt Lucy in this episode. The hotel porter is played by Michael Ripper, a marvellous character actor best remembered for his numerous appearances in the Hammer horror film as well as 'Mr. Shepherd' in the original ( and best ) 'Worzel Gummidge' series. Peter Penry-Jones, who plays the hotel manager, was in the BBC's 'Colditz' series. Gilly Flower, one of the guests, later played 'Miss Tibbs' in 'Fawlty Towers'. Noel Coleman, another guest, was 'the Commander' in David Jason's underrated 'The Top Secret Life Of Edgar Briggs' ( screened later that same year ).

Funniest moment - as Terry tries to carry June into the hotel, the porter locks them out. "We are staying here!", yells Terry, to which the porter replies "Well stay there then!".
