I am not a film critic, but I liked this film. The director did a good job in summing up this depressing, ordinary guy looking for a job. I think a lot of people could relate to it, trying to get ahead in your life yet obstacles get in the way. I liked the way the film starts from the being of the day with the guy shaving and his girlfriend peeing in the bathroom (that was too real for me.) And the guy shaving half his face while driving, how feeble is that. The only normal thing I saw this guy do was have dinner with his girlfriend. Ending the film with the guy ironing his shirt, that was good. We learn from our mistakes, don't we? I think this director has good potential.

This film packs it in for all the guys who have been through the slow process of conforming to adulthood and the corporate world. I found it hilarious as I shifted uncomfortably, remembering the dumb things I have said in interviews and in justification of poor choices. The lead guy is both heroic and pathetic. It was remarkable efficient in its presentation and quick in its style. It would have been nice to see this in a longer format or as part of something larger. The style could have carried another 20 or 30 minutes of the day effortlessly. It easy to imagine a little more in getting to and even from the interview. I can't wait to see more from this director.
