I finally got to watch it on DVD with my fiancée and we were both surprised to find out how sweet and charming the film is. It is a story about friendship and growing up and finding love. The young Turkish actress Ipek Deger has a pixie-like presence on screen and she radiates charm. My favorite thing about the film was that the sad and heartfelt scenes were subtle and sincere, where they could have been over the top so kudos to the first time writer-director Ela Alyamac. I'm constantly listening to the songs from the film now(only available on the official website I'm afraid). Peri Tozu is definitely recommended for the unapologetic romantics out there. It filled my heart with joy!!!!
