Starting after episode three, where they got the Cat's Lair built, the Thundercats began scouting their new home and its surroundings and having their first adventures in Third Earth (besides the one they already had with the Berbils; ep 3). These surroundings are varied and strange. One of the episodes that shows how weird this new planet is is this one: "Trouble with Time".
In this episode they got to know the "Warrior Maidens" a group of brave, tough and maybe slightly rude women, clearly inspired in the old tales about the "Amazon race" that exist in old cultures of the South East part of Europe, like the Greek one.
During this episode, we could see a slightly more confident Lion-0 who could defend himself from three of the Mutants by himself until he was helped by Willa, the Queen of the Warrior Maidens we just mentioned and, more or less, Lion-O's newest friend. Actually, the help coming from Willa will be valuable two times more before this episode finish.
Inside an nearby cave, Tygra began feeling amazingly tired and walking slowly. Lion-0 is warned by the Sword of Omens about Tygra being in danger and sees an image of him as an old man. Thanks to Willa, Lion-0 did not venture into the cave himself as he would grow old too, but asked for the help of the other Thundercats, and managed to help Tygra by using Cheetara's natural speed to take him out of the cave before she was affected herself.
Finally, Willa tells them about the "Geiser of life" where his youth can be restored. IMO this is based on the old Herodotus legend about a "Fountain of life" or "Fountain of Youth" that can also be found in many other cultures and as many other references to great tales and legends, this is one of the many things that made the Thundercats series in general so amusing.
