Tracy asks Jack for a million or more dollars or he'll lose both his houses. Jack proposes Tracy do an infomercial. Jenna gives Liz a copy of her movie The Rural Juror (a title everyone mispronounces or gets other words mixed in). Liz hates the movie but always says one thing nice about every endeavor Jenna does without her. Tracy finds his product: a meat machine that makes sandwiches without bread. He and Jack get Dr. Spaceman to endorse it. After filming infomercial, Kenneth the page gets hot grease spilled on him when he opens Tracy's product. Tracy wants out but Jack proposes pitching in another country. Liz tells Jenna the truth which Jenna interprets as jealousy especially after Liz's writing staff contradicts Liz's opinion. It all comes to a head during showtime when Jack intervenes. After Liz admits to being envious of Jenna and they hug, Jack feigns boredom. Tracy finds out Whoopi Goldberg has replaced him in the foreign version of his infomercial with Spaceman at her side! Not as hilarious as previous episodes but funny enough. Rachel Dratch has another side-splitting part as Barbara Walters interviewing Jenna and constantly saying words that have "r" in them! Chris Parnell is once again good as Dr. Spaceman and for once has some scenes with other players. And Jack McBrayer is guffaw-inducing as Kenneth. Once again, if you haven't seen 30 Rock yet, I highly recommend you watch it now!

Jenna's movie is about to come out and Liz watches it to find out she hates it. Surprisingly everyone else like the movie, and it turns out Liz was just jealous.
And Jack helps Tracy to develop an idea for his product.
Well I am glad we got to hear a bit about the Rural Juror again, would be sad if this joke was forgotten. And finding out that Liz and Jenna have been friends for a long time adds to their dynamics.
The idea that Tracy had for his project was absolutely ridiculous and gross, but this is what made this story so hilarious.
And need to praise Rachel Dratch again, she was awesome as Barbara Walters. Actually after final scene of hers when I figured out it is not a real Barbara Walters I had to go back to the cast to check who played Whoopie Goldberg

The tenth episode in the 30 Rock series is a really funny one that is certainly not short of jokes. The story lines depicted in this episode complements each other quite well. Personally, I feel like the segments involving both Tracy and Liz are one of the funniest segments in this series so far.
This episode, "The Rural Juror," has Liz watching Jenna's new independent movie and disliking it much to Jenna's dismay. Meanwhile, Tracy is in debt and he goes to Jack looking for a loan, but Jack advises Tracy to create a commercial advertising a celebrity product.
Overall, this is a very funny episode and is one of the best episodes yet of the first season. I rate this episode 9/10.

The tenth episode of 30 Rock's first season is fairly Jenna-centric, a decision that pays off thanks to Jane Krakowski's endless energy and endearing interaction with Tina Fey and Rachel Dratch (this time appearing as Barbara Walters).
The main plot focuses on the Jenna's new film, which is about to hit theaters. Liz has been mispronouncing the title for weeks, and is relieved to finally read it correctly: The Rural Juror, based on a novel by Kevin Grisham (John's fictional brother). Unfortunately, it just so happens Liz hates he movie anyway, a fact Jenna interprets as jealousy since everyone else seems to like it. In the meantime, Tracy is in a desperate need for cash and asks Jack for help. Together, they come up with the idea of shooting an infomercial for a new product: the Tracy Jordan Meat Machine.
Krakowski has always been very funny in previous episodes (most notably The Aftermath), and here she gets to have a little more screen-time than usual, using that opportunity to prove she truly deserved the role (it was originally intended for Dratch) and has genuine chemistry with Fey. Added laughs come from the Jack/Tracy subplot, with another appearance by Chris Parnell as Dr. Spaceman and a clever joke about Whoopi Goldberg. To (mis)quote Tracy: Dyn-o-mite!
