The It Crowd leaves us with a superb final outing. Here's Pete's review of The Internet Is Coming...
This review contains spoilers, read our spoiler-free review, here.
It’s always hard saying goodbye, and for the longest time it seemed like we’d had the opportunity taken away from us with The It Crowd; when the fourth series ended in 2010, there was already talk of a fifth. But talk then turned to maybe doing a special instead - or even a movie. And the months turned into years, and we watched as Richard Ayoade and Chris O’Dowd went off and became the sort of actors whose faces end up on the sides of buses to promote their latest Hollywood smash. It seemed as if The It Crowd was consigned to the basement forever.
All of which makes it so much more surprising...

“Hey kids, Warren Buffet here.”
Four incredibly diverse friends (Radley, Elena, Lisa, and Jones) are victims of school budget cuts and their 8th grade trip to New York has been cancelled (which dashes their various dreams). Epic fail! But there’s Warren Buffet there to help out after he gave them his assorted tired platitudes. After some false starts, they get a little discouraged and come back to Mr. Buffet. There, he breaks down the market system for them bit by bit and sets them on a path for making serious cash. Jay Z?! That gives them an idea, to start a club to make money and save the school’s programs and other stuff: The Secret Millionaire’s Club. One question. What’s more awesome than saving your local paper? Nothing!

More and more people are watching live-entertainment television shows while simultaneously interacting with the content on mobile devices. But could 'second-screen' viewing also work for documentaries?
With the adoption of tablets and smartphones, watching TV has become something audiences participate in rather than just sit back and watch.
According to former Channel 4 executive Matt Locke, founder of multiplatform producer Storythings, some 60% of UK viewers now have a laptop or tablet computer running while they are watching television and are very often commenting on the show unfolding. "There has been a big consumer uptake of tablets and iPhones; we started noticing people talking about shows while watching them," says Locke.
Given this boom in so-called "second screen" viewing, there are some cutting-edge television creatives in the industry who predict that the traditional TV set in the corner of the lounge is in danger of turning into the second screen. "Tablets...

Looking for some Occupy Wall Street swag? Jay-z has you covered.
The millionaire rapper and entrepreneur is launching a line of Occupy Wall Street-themed t-shirts featuring the phrase "Occupy All Streets," that go on sale on Jay-z's Rocawear website on Friday, according to Business Insider. But the genius behind "99 Problems" isn't sharing the profits with the 99 percent. A spokesperson from Rocawear told Business Insider in a statement that the company has not "made an official commitment" to support the movement financially.
But Jay-z isn't the first to try and use the Occupy movement to make some money. The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has received a rash of applications from merchants, lawyers and others to trademark phrases like "Occupy" and "We Are The 99 Percent."

With Jay-z getting ready to become a dad, it's no surprise that he might want to impart some of the wisdom and knowledge that got him out of the Marcy Houses to a younger generation. The hip-hop icon and entrepreneur has been animated into the latest episode of The Secret Millionaire's Club, a TV show created by famed businessman Warren Buffett in order to teach fiscal responsibility to young children. Jay-z, who has thus far never appeared as a cartoon, provides his voice and image to the episode "Be Cool To Your School," slated to air on Hub TV this Sunday. The following clip shows Hov in one of his sharp three-piece suits, touting the benefits of entrepreneurship and sound financial planning... followed by yet another montage of big-city hijinks set to "Empire State Of Mind." From the Oscar-winning Inside Job to heartthrob physicist Professor Brian Cox, documentaries are now one of our most valuable – but neglected – art forms
You lose count of the number of times you hear documentaries trashed. The argument is as old as the documentary, and it goes like this. Docs manipulate reality, over-relying on effects such as music. They aren't really journalistic at all. Maybe one should think of them as drama without actors, cheaply made and with few pretensions to seriousness. Shamelessly, they pander to our worst voyeuristic impulses. Under the guise of telling the truth, docs entertain us with lies.
It would be more accurate to say that documentaries are among the most valuable, neglected cultural forms of our time. They aren't all good, to be sure, but the best are unusual, persuasive, seductive. And their success has something to do with the way they are taken for granted,...

Today's TV show theme songs are shorter, simpler, and far less informative than their wordy, descriptive, clip show progenitors. If you're nostalgic for 60-second long introductions with poppy, literal theme music, presenting and explicitly defining characters and actions on screen, you'll have to navigate away from the television and towards a web series featuring the likeness of a 30-year-old Brazilian supermodel. Gisele Bündchen is the star of Gisele and the Green Team, an animated AOL web series from A Squared Entertainment. The program is a candy-colored reincarnation of Captain Planet. The early 90's cartoon favorite featured five individuals wearing five magic rings, who - with their powers combined - could summon a superhuman force and protect the planet from ecological villains like Hoggish Greedly and Tony Hayward. In Gisele and AOL's version, the five individuals are all svelte ladies working in a swank fashion store, their five magic rings are five magic gems,...

One of the stand out acts from this week’s (and possibly this series of) Britain’s Got Talent, is Cruise ship entertainer Kevin Cruise.
Kevin Cruise is the chief host on board the fictional Cruise Ship ‘The Fishy Rose’ which is a 5,000 passenger and 2,000 crew floating entertainment complex.
