Peter hires Michael McDonald to do backing vocals for everything he and his friends say while on border patrol. This is a reference to McDonald having done backing vocals for tons of musicians over the years, so much so that he is largely better known for it than his own output. Artists he has done backing vocals for include (but are not limited to) Christopher Cross, Kenny Loggins, and Steely Dan.
The title for this episode is "Family Guy" in Spanish.
At about the 9 minute mark when The wolf knocks on Peter the pig's straw house door if you look closely the handle is a set of balls and a penis.
Peter calls one of the immigrant workers "Cheech" just before he mentions FOX's great programming like "That 70's Show" which features Tommy Chong, the other half of Cheech and Chong. And of course, That 70's Show also features Mila Kunis, who voices Meg.
