Fascinating show on Lifetime
blanche-220 March 2007
"There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, Than are dreamt of in your philosophy." You have to approach "Lisa Williams: Life Among the Dead" with that attitude, or you'll hate it. Lisa, like Allison Dubois in Medium, sees and hears dead people. She's a real person (as is Allison) with a British accent, punk hairdo, sunny attitude and a husband and family.

I don't have any idea how much the show is edited, but what appears on television is very interesting indeed, showing a strangely practical and paradoxically down to earth woman doing matter of fact, accurate readings for strangers on the street and others by appointment. How often she misses the mark, how many questions she asks, we don't know, again, because we don't know how much of the show is edited.

Nevertheless, thanks to Lisa herself, this is a highly entertaining show, sometimes very touching and always fascinating. I have seen several episodes and then lost track of it. I hope Lifetime gets it on a set schedule.

Great content

I love Lisa's show. She is down to earth, confident, not arrogant and cocky about herself and gives us all a feel for what it is a medium does. She makes me feel comfortable with my own mediumistic gifts and makes me feel if she can do it, so can I.

Lisa's show seems to take place in California but she has a British accent and wild hair that just makes you love her all that much more.

You get the feeling from Lisa that she is genuine. She loves people, loves to work with them and she's not afraid of how people will treat her. Obviously since it is a television show they certainly don't show those people who might be nasty or treat her oddly, but I can't imagine anyone getting a quick reading from Lisa on the street without previous knowledge of who they are and not be amazed by her ability to tell them the truth about a loved one.

Please keep Lisa William's running weekly
ddbusiness16 December 2006
This has been the most enjoyable TV program I have watched for a long time as I am not a person to watch a lot of TV. This show has been enlightening to say the least. Please keep the show running for a long time to satisfy the interest of a lot of people who wonder if those who have passed are watching over their living loved ones. She has inspired me to continue believing that those who pass do visit the living when they need answers that only the departed can give. This is the case especially when the departing was sudden and unexpected, or when a tragic accident, suicide, or any other form of death occurred without any warning. We who have lost many young children especially have the nagging question for the departed, are they happy, did they suffer, do they know how much they are missed and how much we want to communicate when we need a comforting word from them.

Lisa will make a believer out of you !

Lisa is so good at what she does. She doesn't have to try to contact them, the spirits just come up and contact her. This is exactly what we all would like to do at some point in our lives, to be able to hear what "they" would like to say to us now. When the spirits come up to Lisa she listens to them and relays to you what they want said, with such accuracy that includes details such as exact names, locations, and even intimate moments of their lives together as well as things that are going on now, but from the spirits point of view.

Lisa has a great look and a bubbly personality and a fun way of including us in her thoughts about the last reading while we're riding along in the car with her. She instantly makes people feel comfortable and is very caring about their emotions.

You sense that she genuinely wants to help as many people as she can to find what they are ultimately looking for and that is "closure".

It must be very hard for someone like that to have a normal life because spirit people would be appearing around you all the time trying to get you to relay their messages.

So I appreciate and applaud that she is willing to share her wonderful gift with us whether by reading or by letting us share the readings and observe the "peaceful closure experience" that others seem to have when then meet with Lisa.

I think Lisa Williams is great !

Outstanding show I was completely convinced this woman knew what she was doing and truly wanted to help people through their grief i felt very comfortable and I also feel her clients felt the same way I really wanted to express how helpful she was to everyone she came in contact with They didn't look at her as if she was crazy or insane... she was kind and genuine

I hope I'll be able to met her chances are I will things always happen for a reason she is an asset to Hollywood and to other grieving people and definitely helps many along the way I believe closure is extremely important and she knows how to do that

What about grieving parents of missing people???
bodil-644-47435611 March 2018
This 'genuine' woman only seems to get contacted by spirits for whom the crime has been documented via police investigations and court proceedings. There are thousands of people who have been murdered yet no body or murder scene have yet been located. It is very odd that the spirits of these victims never seem to contact this 'genuine' woman so the grieving relatives can find closure and the police can have a crime scene and/or body to work with.
