Honestly, I don't think there's a bad episode of Hustle, but if there is, it's not this one.
It's funny, suspenseful & quite charming. If you're watching closely, you spot the little girl early on as being an English speaker. She doesn't seem very relevant but I did think it was foolish for Danny to be openly mentioning quite so much about the con as he was. Frankly he doesn't know *for sure* that the adults in the room can't understand him, he's made an assumption. That's an entirely Danny thing to do though.
The humour comes partly during the bar scene - the "I'm Spartacus" behaviour of the crew, all saying they're the leader, and of course the scene where Danny fantasises getting the better of their (gorgeous!) captor, ending naturally with Stacie smooching him - and then of course later with the reveal of the little girl's plot, which she has clearly adapted from a wide reading of Manga.
Her appearance and her lovely relationship with her brother is where the charm comes in. You'd need a heart of stone not to be hoping for the very best for them going forward and we know our heroes don't usually struggle long for money, so we don't need to worry about *them*.
I think this is a terrific episode.
