Originally the film was titled, "Farmer Brown", but renamed "Dark Fields" to be more scarier in its marketing, but the new name is a very odd name choice, because the film never has one scene in a field. It largely takes place in a farmhouse.
This was filmed in late 2003, but sat unreleased until it was released directly to DVD in late 2006.
