I'm just posting to contradict the other review that's posted here. It's basically a complete rambling load of nonsense written by a child. Ignore it.

This is another fantastic episode and it makes complete sense for the Avatar gang to attempt to open the Earth King's eyes to the conspiracy within his city. They are the "good guys" after all and they need his resources for the war effort, they wouldn't just abandon the city. It's ridiculous to even suggest it.

Do not listen to the Blue Dragon

Warning: Spoilers
Everything about Zuko in this episode is great (though honestly do I even have to say that anymore, maybe, if the person reading this hasn't read my previous Avatar reviews.)

I love how we finally see Zuko happy (even if it doesn't last) and willing to accept calming jasmine tea "I DON'T NEED ANY CALMING TEA!" Zuko's dreams being a metaphor for his inner conflict was a nice touch (even if it were less than subtle) as does the fact that Azula (The Blue Dragon) represents his evil side and Iroh (The Red Dragon) represents his good side. I also like how Zuko burns his Blue Spirit identity (to paraphrase The Fairly OddParents "this mask that I used to use, it's my past and now I choose, a world that fits my views, a world where I'm good.")

I like how Appa puts Long Feng in his place. And even though it has some flaws (for instance claiming that lack of evidence for a conspiracy is itself proof of a conspiracy to cover it up is something real world conspiracy theorists often do) I like how Team Avatar exposed Long Feng to the Earth King. I also like the role reversal of Sokka and Katara. Likewise, I find the Earth King's sheer idiocy funny.

The Flaws 1) Unlike Bumi, the Earth King does not have a method to his madness 2) Katara's "I will never abandon people" attitude from previous episodes and later episodes makes her look like a hypocrite in this one 3) This is a nitpick but if the Dai Li were loyal to Long Feng then they could have easily murdered the Earth King as soon as he ordered Long Feng's arrest. (I know they couldn't show that in a show for a children but if I have to invoke it being a kid's show to justify something in the episode that suggests that something is wrong with said episode, especially in a show where I normally don't have to say that.)

All in all, it's a decent episode.
