In the scene outside the brunch restaurant where Ted compares his relationship with Robin to his parents, he is wearing the same colors as his father while Robin wears the same colors as his mother. Ted, an Ohio-native and Cleveland Indians fan, asks his father about the likelihood of Cerrano winning the RBI title. In the movie Major League (1989), Cerrano is a member of the Cleveland Indians and is a clean-up hitter (an RBI producing player).
