The episode goes in a light way through different stories to show us what happened this day and why everyone was not in a happy mood before and after the happy picture was taken.

The story that was revealed I must say I predicted pretty soon but it was still done very fun. I like Ted's parents, great selection. It was fun how they basically said that Ted and Robin don't belong together but Robin didn't notice it and was just happy. And the end with the grandmother was so funny.

Lily and Marshall here have teased each other with parading their boobs and calves and also me by hooking up as I hoped this will be them getting back together but as it looks I was wrong. They won't make it that easy.

A Visit From Teds Parents

Another so so episode of "How I Met Your Mother" that doesn't feature Barney Stinson that much. However Neil Patrick Harris simply steals every scene he is in. Every time there is a great episode of this show, it's him that is the focal point, now he is stealing episodes where he isn't.

Plot In A Paragraph: Keen for them to meet Robin (Cobie Smulders) Ted (Josh Radnor) has flew his parents to New York for their anniversary. As his self appointed best friend Barney Stinson (Neil Patrick Harris) is sure they can't wait to meet him and is keen to make a good impression on them. Meanwhile Lily (Alyson Hannigan) and Marahal (Jason Segel) set about trying to turn each other on.

Josh Radnor carries most of the emotional baggage of the episode along with Cobie Smulders. Jason Segel and Alyson Hannigan.don't have much to do here, but are still fun, but again this episode is knocked out of the park by a delightfully fun Neil Patrick Harris.

Not one of my favourite episodes, but enjoyable for Neil Patrick Harris.
