Meet the crypt keeper.

Warning: Spoilers
The always delightfully acerbic Louis Edmunds is back as Roger Collins, commenting wryly on the disappearance of son David, initially upset with Victoria then heading out with Joe to search for him. They meet up with Cemetery caretaker Daniel Keyes but, who has already had an encounter with the voice of David in the crypt whom he thinks is a ghost. Edmonds makes a hysterical mistake tripping over his lines, referring to his ancestors as his incesters, then quickly fixing the line. For some reason Roger decides to view the names of the ancestors buried in the crypt which alerts David to their presents, ending the show with the hope that he will be found.

Having been away for what seems like an eternity, Edmunds jump right back into the action and the writers seem to have fun giving him all these sardonic lines to say. The way he treats Joe is hysterically condescending, and his remarks in regards to the caretaker are also very funny. Keyes gets to overplay the part of the caretaker once again with his eccentricity and is truly hysterically funny. My only issue is that the David locked in the crypt story has gone on a bit too much, but the writers seem to enjoy and milking it out for suspense. Hopefully Joe and his father will find David before Barnabas and Willie do.

Warning: Spoilers
Episode 313 is once again a 'hunt for a missing person' episode with Joe and Roger creeping around in the dark looking for the trapped David. I found it rather funny thanks to the interventions of the crazy cryptkeeper and Roger's bodging of a key line.
