Sergeant Boyden attends a noisy house in the small hours, when he enters he discovers a lot more than be was expecting, two men, two girls, and a shed load of cash.
Something wonderfully surreal about this episode, it's like a scene from a 1960's gangster movie, this should have been shot in black and white, with a smoky noir atmosphere, it would have worked really well.
It's almost comedic, it's a very serious story, but it's played out in such a way, that it's almost funny, at no point does it ever feel heavy. Some great one liners.
When Boyden enters the house, the first thing you'll say to yourself, Micky Pearce is in that house, his voice is unmistakable.
Patrick Murray and Danny Webb are both great here as the drunken, happy crooks, Webb plays it with such sarcasm, he has always played this type of character incredibly well, the pair have oodles of charisma.
Loved it, 9/10.
