One of the greatest and most essential behind-the-scenes making of documentaries ever made

Okay, everybody makes a big deal about the documentaries centering on the making of such bloated big budget epics as "Jaws" or "Star Wars." Well, who cares about that stuff! This here is the real deal! This documentary gives us the lowdown on the production of that shamefully underrated recent gem of a picture "Snakes on a Train." Philo Beddo talks about portraying dirty narc Hoover and doubling as a production assistant. (In fact, several cast members were also crew members on this flick. Now, that's what I call dedication.) Foxy blonde actress Amelia Jackson-Gray admits she was genuinely freaked out by working with live snakes. Reza Riazi notes that he's playing one of his standard creepy Persian guys in the movie and actor Jason S. Gray goes over his fight scene with fellow thespian A.J. Castro. Why, we even get to see rubber snake special effects man Mike Rios work his magic on the set. Plus a bunch of cows disrupt the production at one point. Better still, the funky rock song "Snakes in Hawaii" roars away on the soundtrack to a groovy montage of everyone hard at working making this modern masterpiece of bone-chilling killer animal horror. My sole criticism of this otherwise fantastic documentary is that it's way too short at a mere 8 minutes long; the skimpy running time left me wanting more. But then, you can't have everything, now can you?
