A recently deceased individual (David Paymer) finds himself buried in another man's grave, and enlists Melinda's help in figuring out why. Killed by a force of nature, as they say, Paymer's character has no memory of what happened to him. The solution is not likely to be what you think, and this episode is especially satisfying in its mystery elements. It helps that it boasts two very strong guest stars, Paymer being one and "widow" Wendy McKenna the other. McKenna has a couple of nice scenes with Hewitt as the pieces begin to fall into place. Beware: The episode is on the gruesome side. Paymer does not die pleasantly. Not pleasantly at all.

Actually Melinda's surname is Gordon...where her husband Jim (James is Clancey.) She obviously kept her last name. You can see proof of this in the episode where Karl, her ex boyfriend looks up her address on the library computer & it shows Melinda Gordon & James Clancey. Also in episode S2 - 8. "The nights we met" When Melinda goes to the burnt down restaurant to meet Jim's friend and also the arson investigator Freddie Diaz, she introduces herself to him as "Melinda Gordon wife of Jim Clancey". This episode is rather spooky and I really enjoyed watching it. Brought back a lot of hurtful memories for Melinda. I give this one a 10.
