- Mild sensual content throughout the series, more frequent later on. Sarah Connor wear's a very short skirt on her job as a waitress, though she abandons this outfit fairly quickly. Cameron at several points in the series appears very briefly in her underwear, usually in a non-sexual manner. Sarah, John, and Cameron appear naked after teleporting to the year 2007, though its shot in such a way that you can't see much more than their faces.

- Frequent, though mostly bloodless, action violence including gunfire and hand-to-hand combat. Wounds on cyborg characters reveal slightly bloodied metal endoskeletons under the skin. Early on, the character of Cromartie (spoiler warning) is damaged during a gun battle and has large chunks of skin missing on his face. The following episode, the same character is seen bathing in a syrupy blood-like fluid, emerging with bloody and raw looking flesh. A character is mentioned as having his eyes gouged out, and the corpse is very briefly glimpsed.
