This show continued to get worse as the minutes rolled on. I was hoping for something entertaining knowing that the special effects budget for a television show are usually limited and maybe just maybe the producers would come up with a creative way to get around those limitations.
I was let down. Not only do the effects look bad, there are a huge amount of them littered all over the show. I did learn that you can use a love seat/sofa as a bullet proof barrier though.
So far this series has totally canceled out the logic that the first two films functioned on and established (even though they try to incorporate elements from them) and by doing that alone this series should be *cough* terminated. This show is such a mess I'm not sure i can figure out where to begin. So far they've established that a terminator won't kill one of its main targets but will simply knock them out so they can escape later on very James Bondish...not to mention the whole time travel issue...
I'd rather have another Terminator film over a poorly written & produced weekly television series that captures none of the excitement or feeling from the films and instead offers up more WB Network style bilge. Give me ILM special effects and better story lines over some chick who reminds me nothing of the tough as nails Sarah conner from the original movies who was a tad crazy...instead we get the Prozac version of her with a soft spoken voice that makes 'pancakes' and occasionally whips out a gun and kicks butt.
I'm sure James Cameron is enjoying the fat check he'll be getting from this joke of a show. I hope he'll realize what he's done one day and come back to clean up this horrible mess his series is starting to become.
