- A young boy tries to get another child to stab a dog in order to join; the boy refuses so it's implied the boy stabs the dog himself. The killing is not viewed but we see him stabbing over and over covered in blood. He is then seen to bury the dog near his home. His mother later discovers the body.
- During practice, a batter and pitcher have some testy exchanges of close hits and brushbacks. But when the player is floored by a pitch aimed for his unprotected head, he explodes and beats the pitcher badly before being pulled off by other team mates. The pitcher is shown laying on the ground not moving.

- An adult male is seen to have a flashback, recalling childhood sexual abuse by his baseball coach. This flashback then flips to present day, same coach, different young boy. At his log cabin in the woods, coach has the boy in an upstairs bedroom. He speaks soothingly to him. He asks if he's "told" anyone (about this abuse) and he replies "no." Boy then removes his T-shirt, standing in front of seated abuser. The man strokes the boy's naked chest and waist. He is just about to remove his jeans when he is interrupted. Scenario suggests he is a repeat sexual predator preying on his young players over a period of at least 15 years. Very upsetting and unsettling. No other nudity.
- Man has childhood flashback to being driven home by his baseball coach who then leads him into the woods to a log cabin instead. This dissolves into the present day with the same coach, different boy. Coach has 14-year-old boy in upstairs bedroom, another baseball player. He asks the boy if he has "told" anyone (meaning about sexual abuse); boy answers "no." Boy stands from bed and removes his T-shirt, standing bare-chested in front of seated coach. Man begins to fondle boy's bare chest until interrupted before he gets further.
Violence & Gore
- Man interrupts a child sexual predator just as he is about to rape a young boy. He points a gun at him but ends up using his fist, baseballs, his foot and finally a bat to beat him after the man picks up his gun and shoots him in the shoulder. It is implied he beats the man to death. The scene is brutal but little blood is shown.
