This is a very strange and twisted little film about a guy who has a very, very strange collection--he collects old people!! In much the same way that people collect baseball cards or works of art, the leading character in this mockumentary collects old folks. The film starts off during his childhood when his mother bought him his first elderly person and much of the film takes place in the present time--showing such activities as buying the elderly from neighborhood kids, making deals with fellow collectors and disposing of them when they die--as they no longer have much value. While this idea is odd, I liked it because they played it all so straight and deliberately skirted the edge of bad taste--making it a definite must-see. Well made and sick...so what's not to love?!
