Jesse Spano plans on running for the student council president, but Zack thinks it's a joke. Jesse challenges Zack to run if he feels that way. Zack declines at first, but quickly changes his mind when he finds out the winner gets a week off school to ski in Mount Washington. Zack runs away with the voting by doing his typical suck-up routine. Jesse is apprised that she must change her stubborn ways if she is to compete. Jesse is apprehensive, but agrees. When Slater finds out what Zack is up to, he manages to coerce Belding to cancel the ski trip to see if Zack is genuine with his intentions. Zack doesn't like this at all and purposely tries to get defeated by Jesse.
6.4? I don't get why SBTB fans are so apathetic about this episode. I think it's very entertaining myself. It's another reason Zack Morris is one of the most legendary characters in television history. I don't understand how anyone can't laugh at his conniving antics. There are memorable moments in this episode. Zack's corny election video is hilarious, they even go as far as to include Zack with a Rocky Balboa cardboard cutout. It's even fun to see Jesse play an alter-ego, so to speak. It was cringe worthy to watch, but hilarious nonetheless. Perky and preppy Jesse is rather surreal. I also cracked up at Jesse being frustrated with women's tendencies. I'd also prefer not to see Mr. Belding's chubby gut while he's working out in the locker room any time soon. That was a disturbing sight to say the least. Lisa gets to be Jesse's campaign manager, Slater has one big scene, and Kelly plays a part in the end, but they didn't have a lot do in this episode. And of course, Screech messes up as usual. This one is mostly about Zack and Jesse. The ending is very cute and somewhat emotional. Zack even gets his teddy bear back. I've always enjoyed Zack and Jesse together. I do think it was right for Zack and Kelly to end up with each other, but Zack and Jesse always had great chemistry with one another as well. SBTB fans should ease up on this one a bit. It's good entertainment, what more do people want?
