One Of The Wild-And-Crazier Episodes Of This Series

This is a pretty gruesome episode. It's as if the writer keep trying to "push the envelope" with more and more bizarre stories. Frankly, I nice, tough, straight-forward crime story is all I ask. I'm long past 21 so I don't need to see all the kinky sex from the drunken 20-30 age group that has been featured more than normal on this show this season. I expect that from CSI-Miami, and don't mind it, but I don't want here. The New York spin off has always been more about the crime, which I why I like this show the best of the three CSIs. I hope this isn't the direction it's going (aiming only entirely for young viewers), but it appears to be.

Nonetheless, I have to admit the two victims were shown had my jaw dropping. A decapitated girl hanging from a chandelier and later, a guy with railroad spikes hammered through his eyes into a tree? Wait - there's more.....the victim also has peacock eyes painted all over his upper body!

All the clues to solve the case are in encrypted tee-shirts that the killer is making, shirts with Greek mythology messages and numerology.

With all of this, you can see why this is the only story on this episode; there are no secondary stories. All the members of the crew are on it. This would have made a super season- opener.gt

Notes: Edward Furlong, who gained fame at an early age as "John Connor," the punk teen son of "Sarah Connor" in "Terminator 2," guest stars. It's hard to imagine he's 30 years old now. His resume shows he's been employed since "Terminator 2," but in nothing I've seen, so it was interesting to see him again.

On the personal front, "Danny" is shot down by "Lyndsay," who gives the typical female "I'm not ready for any kind of relationship" speech to him. He takes it well, and the scene is short. So far, this CSI spin off has very little soap opera contest, which is one reason why I like it.
