Excellent examination of football hooliganism in the UK
DoctahToboggan18 November 2013
Danny Dyer takes you to meet the real top boys and hooligan firms throughout the UK. If you loved The Football Factory, and want to know more about some of the UK's top hooligan firms, this series does it with terrific coverage of the casual movement, the most intense derbies, and the tactics of the Old Bill in confronting football violence.

Dyer is the perfect presenter for the series, as he is an ardent fan of West Ham United, F.C., a club with passionate fans and a history of football hooliganism. That passion and love for the game come through with every fixture he attends and every pint he shares with the top boys.

A sad fairy tale said by sad losers
ersbel7 February 2019
So you have the production team. All losers. All wanting to sell something juicy. The worst of journalism: if it bleeds, it leads.

Than you have the old hooligans. Everything was better in the good ol times. At least in their heads. They are losers on welfare. And those were their minutes of fame. So they will say anything to get some attention.

Than you have the talking heads. Also losers. These are lower than the hooligans. They never felt the adrenaline and respect. They usually know the facts from TV and will describe it more vividly than the ones who were witnessing the events.

So there is some truth. But no gang has ANY interest to do anything but lie. Somehow the production team does not pass the occasion to enlarge the audience with some socialist memes and somehow Tatcher has some involvement too.
