The best in the series so far!
general-melchett27 November 2006
This episode was by far the best in the series so far - it was all-action, and we finally see Robin Hood fight in the Crusades - many people seem to think that he looks like someone plucked from behind a till at Netto. Robin Hood is no longer a softy - he actually displays his true colours in this episode - and while it isn't exactly gritty, it is more furious and realistic than any other episodes. Rather than just mindless slicing-and-dicing this time - this episode is actually intelligent and shocking - the star of the show was easily the tattoo that the whole thing revolved around. The reason why this is the best episode so far is because it is everything Robin Hood should aspire to - though not a great deal changes by the end of the show, it is a worthy addition to a slightly sub-par series, and after the rather disappointing "Brothers in Arms", this shows that Robin Hood might be on the rise. Series-best performances from Guy of Gisborne and Robin. This episode shows true corruption, friendship and care in the group of outlaws, as well as being a story of revenge and betrayal. This is what makes it far better than any Robin Hood episode yet.

Could this frankly disappointing series be on the rise?
