Very good gay anime film!

Warning: Spoilers
Although I wouldn't call it a masterpiece but it really did impress me as a Yaoi fan! I really liked how they made Ritsuka have cat ears and a tail, omigosh he was just darn cute! I even thought it was sweet that Soubi was always saying to Ritsuka that he always loves him and cares about him like man, he is definitely the real prince charmer here haha! The only complaint I have with this film is that they added really annoying characters such as the girl (cant remeber her name) who was always clingy to Ritsuka into getting him to like her and the other dude who couldnt stop talking about liking that girl but hangs out with the group anyways.

I liked that Soubi really cares about Ritsuka as well as defending for him even if he doesnt ask Ritsuka for a hand to defeating the other group.

Really good series, 8/10

The Most Beautiful Anime Ever

Warning: Spoilers
My friend recommended me to watch Loveless. She said it was Yaoi, so I decided to watch it. I have never seen an anime so romantic like this! I have never seen the animators work so hard on an anime like this. Everything about it is beautiful. The graphics is just.. stunning. My heart literally was racing.

Although, the series can be confusing at times. Just rewind a little or pay attention more and you will get it. I get the fighters but it is quite confusing to explain. I admit, the show can be a little funny. Not very much. Such as when Soubi and Ritsuka kissed during a spell battle, one of the people they were battling said, "Ew!".

I recommend this anime for all romantic anime lovers because this is just.. beautiful. If you don't like yaoi, don't watch.

Thoroughly Entertaining!!!

This is the first anime I've ever watched, if you don't count the countless Pokémon episodes that I caught on TV over a decade ago when I was trying to avoid homework after school, and I have to say: I'M IMPRESSED! :)

I absolutely adored the entire story, which I also found surprisingly deep. I mean, I didn't know *what* to expect, but I guess I was skewing towards something much more silly, and LOVELESS is anything *but* that. It's sad, but at the same time hilarious, almost poking fun at itself, but in a wonderfully *dark* way. The characters are all quite brilliant, the secondary ones so well-crafted that - in my opinion - they often steal the scene from Soubi and Ritsuka. My *only* problem is Soubi, who drove me half-crazy with his aggravating cageyness and with the way he kept going off on his own ... and then *getting hurt*, ahem ... and refusing even to let Ritsuka help him AFTERWARDS. Come on, dude: WTF?! But I sort of came to understand him a little more by the end, which is why I didn't end up dropping a star or two. I warmed up to him during the second-last episode, which almost had me rolling on the floor laughing FOR REALS.

I'd really like more episodes, though, because there are so many questions left unanswered. I want to know more about Seimei and any other Loveless and Ritsu and all the Zeros and what the fridge-tart happened at the end and ... BAH! I guess I should just read the manga, eh?

Anyway, this anime's cool, and it definitely has me wanting to check out some others.

A good anime, albeit short.

Loveless holds a near and dear place in my heart as the first anime I ever watched. It still holds up, but the anime doesn't do itself justice.

It's unfortunate that Loveless will never get a reboot or another 12 episodes to catch up with the ending of the Manga, as the anime only addressed Volumes 1 through 4.

It's an interesting take on the usually bland BL genre, and I find myself going back to it to rewatch it.

It's... it's even worse than I expected
larrimus1 August 2022
I can only assume this has so few reviews because people saw the concept for this show and thought "Oh dear God no!" to themselves.

After having watched this, I can say that they were probably right to do that...

This show features a romance between a young man in college and a middle schooler. I knew that going into this show (and the fact that the characters have cat ears until they lose their virginity) and it was still somehow worse than I expected.

I thought the plot of this show would be about that middle schoolers unreciprocated feelings for that college student, with that college student being unable to take himself away from that middle schooler due to seeing the middle schoolers late older brother in him. It was worse than that... I won't say anything more in order to avoid spoilers.

Perhaps some will find it beneficial to force themselves to endure the extremely disturbing plot elements of this show, but only if they can remain cognizant of just how messed up they are. That potential from the uniqueness of this shows plot is the only thing that caused me to give this show two stars instead of one. The idea of this show normalizing any of the many disturbing elements of its plot to any of its viewers horrifies me.

This anime should continue with more episodes and it should have many more seasons.
