Jonathan and his bride to be Lucy turn to Alison for help when she develops a severe skin disorder, the same that caused the death of his first wife.
Meanwhile Robert refuses to explain his situation to Jude or Alison, with only Barbara to confide in.
I have always found this to be one of the saddest, one of the most moving episodes, Lucy's plight is actually very sad to watch. TV should move you, and boy does this one take you on a journey.
You'll have heard of the jealous ex before, but none of them have anything on Claire, that is taking revenge to a whole new level.
For my money, there is no finer actor than Liam Cunningham, he is fantastic here, as is Julie Graham, however once again it is the phenomenal acting skills of Lesley Sharpe that make this so wonderful to watch.
Credit to the makeup team, they did an incredible job here with Julie Graham's makeup, looking at her, she actually looks as if she's in real pain and discomfort.
Pretty much faultless, I'm scoring it a 9, as I prefer some of the other episodes, but we're talking the first of margins.
9/10.
