It is another powerful episode from the second series. It's going to have added interest because it features Natalia Tena, and she is fabulous as Gemma. Gemma is a very troubled young woman, but in terms of acting, it's one fantastic performance.
The story itself is quite a bleak one, there's so much going on beneath the surface, plenty of layers, with a very dark outcome.
We have so many questions here, number one, is Robert going to confide in Alison or not. The pair are both struggling so much with their own problems.
Even though Amanda Lawrence doesn't utter a word as Alison's mother, I think she's great, real presence.
So good, 8/10.
